WILD CHERRY BARK – Wild Cherry Bark (Prunus serotina), also known as black cherry, American cherry, and Virginian prune, is native to the eastern and central United States. Its bark is classified as an herb. Our product is made from the young, thin bark of the wild cherry tree.
HIGHLY BENEFICIAL – For centuries, wild cherry bark has been used by Native American tribes. Today, wild cherry bark is also harvested for teas and syrup, and is used for smoking meats and fish.
ALMOND-LIKE AROMA – Wild Cherry Bark is harvested from wild cherry trees growing in optimum conditions. The brown and reddish chunks have a slight almond-like scent with a bitter yet slightly sweet flavor.
