Since it is served in a thin-rimmed cup, it cools down later than other types of coffee, thus giving you a longer-lasting coffee enjoyment. It is softer, viscous and aromatic compared to other types of coffee.
Since sugar is added while it is being prepared, there is no need for flavoring as in other coffees. Since the grounds accumulated at the bottom of the cup are not drunk, it is healthy.
Since it is not much in quantity, it does not cause bloating even though it is drunk frequently. It contains less caffeine in one drink than other types of coffee. One cup (65 ml) of Turkish Coffee contains 60 mg of caffeine.
