EXCEPTIONAL TASTE – When it comes to Ghee, the key is in the ingredient. For that reason, Ghee uses the best butter that money can buy. We use organic -cultured -butter that is churned high-fat European styled. Not surprisingly, the butter has won many awards and is small batch artisan in nature.
MODERN SCIENCE – Finds that Ghee contains CLA (Conjugated Linoleic Acid) and significant levels of vitamins A, D & E. Linoleic Acid helps in balancing cholesterol, reduce inflammation, and increase energy.
GOOD FOR THE ANIMALS & THE PEOPLE – In keeping with good karma, we made sure the cream that went into our butter and ghee, came from family farms in Northern California with pasture raised cows. We are able to drive up to the farms to see the cows. These family farms are Humanely Certified. We believe this in turn will be good for you.
USES- Ghee has a smoke point of at least 450F, which means you can use it in more food preparations than regular butter because butter will burn much sooner. You can also use it as a substitution of 1:1 against butter, olive oil, avocado oil, coconut oil, but a little bit goes a long way. Add a teaspoon of it here and there, such as to your soups, omelettes, stirfries, coffee (as a substitute for sugar). For baking, carefully consult the recipe!
