To prepare HOT TEA, put one heaped teaspoon (approx 2 grams/.07 ounces) of loose tea leaves per cup in a teapot. Boil clean fresh water and pour the required quantity of boiled water over the tea leaves. Let them brew for 3-5 minutes, depending upon the strength of liquor required. Then strain to separate the tea leaves from the liquor, if you do not want any leaves in your cup. Try with or without milk and sweetener to taste. A SECOND STEEP can delight you with a softer, second flavor.
You can also make pure and natural ICE TEA – prepare hot tea as per your normal procedure, but with double the strength of tea i.e. twice the quantity of tea leaves per cup. Brew for 3-5 minutes. Strain the tea leaves, add half a teaspoon of honey (more if desired), stir till dissolved. Fill a tumbler with ice, add a slice of lemon, apple, peach or pear to taste. Pour the hot tea into the tumbler. Your refreshing glass of ice tea is ready to enjoy.
NATURALLY FLAVORED TEA – You can easily flavor your tea in a pure and natural way with many of your favorite fruits or culinary herbs by just cutting then into slices or smaller pieces and adding then to the prepared tea. A generous pinch of mint leaves and/ or slices of lemon, apple, peach or pear could do wonders when added to your home made preparation.
Kashmir Masala is also an ideal tea for preparing a TEA LATTE because it already has pure and natural spices. Put one teaspoon of Kashmir Masala tea and one of sugar, per cup of Tea Latte that you wish to prepare, into a saucepan. Add half a cup of milk and half a cup of water, for every cup of Tea Latte that you wish to prepare, and bring the mixture to a boil. Stir and wait till the mixture turns a frothy rich brownish cream color. Strain and serve to enjoy your Tea Latte.
