Saint André is a soft, triple crème, cow’s milk cheese produced in the Normandy region of France.
It has a high fat (75%) content because it is enhanced with heavy cream, making it heavy, buttery and rich. The rind consists of a velvety, bloomy mold.
The full taste of the cheese is best described as intense version of brie. The flavours of the powdery and edible rind are tangy and provide a perfect complement to the rich, slightly salty and decadent centre. Can be paired with with a light beer or dessert wine.
