Echiré Charentes-Poitou Butter is an unsalted, pasteurized, cow’s milk butter roll made in the churned, ancient tradition from France. From the centuries old dairy, Echiré, comes this sophisticated, high end cow’s milk Normandy butter.
It is a famed artisanal French butter, made from the milk of cows of the small village of Poitiers and La Rochelle. This butter is manufactured following traditional methods to preserve the real flavor of rustic butter. Produced in barrel-shaped drums, the cream is matured for 24 hours to allow for the full development of its flavor, and then washed with clear water to obtain a very pure, raw and perfumed butter.
This allows for the development of the prized nutty characteristics the region’s butter is famous for. This roll of Echire salted butter has a light texture and a subtle, divine flavor.
