ASSAM BLACK TEA: This loose tea tea is a well balanced black tea from the famous Indian region of Assam. This single origin Assam tea originates from the Hunwal tea estate. The brewed cup has classic Assam tea characteristics with an oaky, smoky and toasty finish.
SINGLE ORIGIN & SMALL BATCH: Much of the Assam region sits at an altitude of 1000-4000 ft. above sea level, giving the region cooler than average temperatures compared to other regions of India. These cool temperatures and high rainfall accelerates the development of very rich, strong qualities in our black tea leaves.
PREPARATION OF THE TEA: To prepare our Black Tea Assam, use 1.5 teaspoons of black loose leaf tea for every 8 ounces of water. The recommended water temperature to brew the tea is between 190-200 degrees Fahrenheit, with a recommended steep time of 3-4 minutes
THE PERFECT GIFTING SIZE, we designed our tins to be pretty enough to sit on the counter, making them the perfect tea gift; just pop a bow on top and it’s ready to gift; makes a great Christmas gift for tea lovers to teachers, neighbors, and friends
PREMIUM GRADE TEA: We travel around the globe to source the best quality ingredients to produce the best cup of tea. Whether it is a traditional Japanese green tea, an organic black tea from India, a Chinese oolong, or a European herbal tea, we take great pride in our sourcing.
