matcha iri genmaicha is a deliciously unique Japanese tea creation. Made by blending the finest Tencha grade matcha (green tea powder) with ganmaicha (sencha green tea and roasted brown rice).
Our matcha iri genmaicha has a robust umami flavor and a vibrant green color. The teas are grown in Ujitawara, Kyoto Prefecture, Japan.
The matcha is shade grown for 20 days prior to harvest. Both teas are machine harvested in mid-May, 2022 (first flush).
The Tencha grade Premium Matcha (powdered green tea) is prepared by steaming, kneading, sieving, cutting, sorting, drying and stone milling. Then blended with First Flush () sencha and roasted Japanese brown rice.
Produce of Japan, blended and packaged in USA. Naturally gluten free.
