Our TAKUAN (pickled daikon radish) is made of Japanese Daikon radish.

TAKUAN is dried daikon radish pickled in rice bran and salt, it is fermented food that has been pressed with a stone weight and matured.

Daikon radish is dried around two weeks under the sunshine in winter. Crunchy texture and UMAMI are increased by drying the daikon radish.

Our TAKUAN is made by Japanese traditional method that uses dried daikon radish.

Free from MSG. It is suitable for vegan, vegetarian. No coloring added.
