GROW.Plant seeds in a cell tray with drains about 2 inches (51 mm) deep in the soil. Use your finger to make the hole, then drop a seed into it. Cover it back up with soil. Keep in bright sun (or under a sun lamp) and water every 3-4 days, keeping the soil moist. Once seeds start to sprout, you can replant them in individual pots.
WHEN TO PLANT.Winter or Spring
TALL. Finger limes are small fruits, usually measuring 2 to 3 inches in length and weighing as little as 10 to 15 grams each.
FEATURE. Shaped like small pickles or cucumbers with ends that taper to points, finger limes are most commonly a purple or blackish dark green, though they sometimes appear as light green or even brownish-red. The skin of the fruit is rough and pebbled.
